Part II
What do you find to be the hardest part about getting great shots?
The sun...it's your best friend and your worst enemy!

Have you considered going into the photography business?
Absolutely.  I'm not much of a "business woman" though.  I don't think
I'll ever be RICH doing photography.  But I know my life is richer because of it by far.

What has helped you make this decision?
The ridiculous amount of pure JOY it gives me!

Do you think its possible to get great photos with any camera?
Absolutely!  One of my favorite shots I've ever taken was with a $80 point and shoot
camera WAY before I got into photography.  It was after a full day of playing at a Party
in the Park.  My daughter had her face painted and she was so tired...and the sun was
setting behind her.  Just thinking about that picture makes me smile.

What is the trick to getting great photos with any camera?

The trick is to not think of it as snapping a picture...but more like capturing a moment
you always want to remember.  If you take photos of those beautiful little moments,
even if the lighting isn't perfect and your subject isn't smiling and saying "cheese",
you will have a GREAT photograph.

Do you have any advice for aspiring photographers?

My advice is to ENJOY YOURSELF.  Play with the kids you take photos of.  Make
couples laugh.  Make people feel comfortable with you.  If you can do that, you are
going to capture REAL moments with them, not stiff poses and uncomfortable forced
smiles.  It makes all the difference.
