Conceptual photography is a genre in photography wherein artists makes a photograph of an idea.

Usually, this kind of photography uses the aid of computers for editing to achieve the desired effects. This was a big breakthrough in the field of modern photography.

This kind of photography emerged when serious photographers tried to create something different because photographs with scenes of nature and expressive portraits were no longer in demand in the fine arts market. In order for one’s artwork to be caught in attention one must out stand the others that are one of the major reasons of this breakthrough.
